That value, however, is not self-evident. In his talk he will discuss the problem of cross-cultural communication from three personal perspectives: as a foreign anthropologist working in Taiwan and China; as an American educator; and as an occasional international business consultant. In particular, He is concerned about the effectiveness of cross-cultural training programs for both students and professionals on both sides of the Pacific. The topic of his speech will be: “Who needs cross-cultural communication?â€? Breakfast will start at 7:30 A.M. and the meeting will adjourn at 8:30 A.M.
